Define your character's drives and be rewarded when fulfilling them

This set comprises 30 motivation cards, each representing the most archetypical abstract goals in any fiction. Using them lets you detail your character and give them depth and instinctive purpose. Playing with motivations will also serve as a compass and incentive to roleplay as appropriate to the narrative, and be mechanically rewarded by doing so.

The premise

Your motivations answer to what are my interests.

Each motivation is composed of 3 layers and a buyoff. You take +momentum as per the layer (or buyoff) comes to fruition.

Further guidelines are given on how motivations interact with each other, what considerations should be made, and how to use them in other roleplaying game systems.

System-agnostic

The Motivations Card Set comes with universal guidelines to be used in any tabletop roleplaying game system.
